Unarmed Basic drill takes the drill that cadets learn in class, and expands upon it, with more precise and difficult movements. Both captains work hard to get the team prepared for competitions. Armed Basic Drill is an extension to basic ROTC drill, with the addition of rifles. The armed basic team trains and practices for competitions, perfecting rifle movements and basic drill movements along with the unarmed team. Armed Basic is led by c/PO3 Genesis Burgos-Rus and unarmed is led by c/PO1 Tyler McKenzie.
